100th post! 10 things our southern mamas taught us

It’s my 100th post, y’all! And to celebrate, I decided to do something a little different with the help of one of my bffs, April.

Y’all know that I’m from the south and I love it. There are a few things that Mama Nancy and April’s Mama, Juanita taught us growing up and we wanted to share ’em with you guys!

10 things our southern mamas taught us! Enjoy!

Did your mama teach you something you never forgot? Share in the comments. April and I would love to read them!

  1. Amen to the importance of handwritten thank-you notes! That was the one I was waiting to hear! Everytime nowadays when I send one, people are AMAZED and almost embarrassingly appreciative.

  2. I KNOW! I always send them. It's important! Plus, if someone spent their life savings to buy a stamp to put on that thank you note (have you SEEN how expensive they're getting?!), you know you're important to that person.
