It’s a new year and I’m a newbie again.
No, I’m not in the gym standing around not knowing what to do.
I just started running in addition to crossfit.
And it sucks.
I’m the girl that’s wheezing after 3/4 of a mile and everyone that passes me is like, “wtf is wrong with this girl”.
Because running is hard as f*ck. But I’m doing it. I’ve been using my nike running app to track my runs and using the coaching tool to improve my 5K time. Go be my friend on there! Search Aislinn Ace Herrera.
Right now, it’s miserable. But I’m maybe getting better? I thought I got “runner’s high” the other day…but then I realized that it was just my legs and hands going numb.
Womp. Womp. Womp.
Any advice for newbie runners? Help!
